Diamonds Earrings

The Pear Crochet Earrings form a hook that passes through the piercing, set with a pear-cut diamond and a round accent, on approx. 0.75 g of solid 18K gold (750 hallmark) per single piece, in yellow, rose or white gold, with a certificate of authenticity.

The hook is the fitting as well as the design, so there is no separate back — which is what makes it easy to stack with other earrings in the same ear. At 0.22 ct in total on 0.75 g of gold the stones lead. Note the figures are for a single earring.

The 1960 Hoop Earrings hang white diamonds from a gold hoop so they swing freely, on approx. 2.52 g of solid 18K gold (750 hallmark) per single piece, in yellow, rose or white gold, with a certificate of authenticity.

Because the stones hang rather than being set into the band, they move independently of the hoop — which is what produces the flicker of light a fixed setting cannot. At 0.60 ct on 2.52 g the stones carry most of the piece. Note the figures are for a single earring.

The Britney Diamond Earrings set white diamonds on a 7 cm gold rope chain, on approx. 1.00 g of solid 18K gold (750 hallmark) per single piece, in yellow, rose or white gold, with a certificate of authenticity.

This fiche gives both bases, so the two can be compared directly: 1.00 g and 0.24 ct per earring, 2.00 g and 0.48 ct for the pair. At 0.24 ct on a single gram of gold, the stones carry almost the whole piece.

The Bohemian Earrings hang a 0.10 ct solitaire from a delicate gold cable chain, on approx. 1.50 g of solid 18K gold (750 hallmark), in yellow, rose or white gold, with a certificate of authenticity.

A cable chain has round links that lie flat and turn freely, so the solitaire swings rather than sitting fixed. One stone and nothing else — the most restrained of the chain earrings.

The Beloved Hoop Earrings set round and square-cut white diamonds along a small gold hoop, offered in two diameters, in solid 18K gold (750 hallmark), in yellow, rose or white gold, with a certificate of authenticity.

Both sizes carry the same 0.16 ct, so the choice changes only how far the hoop stands from the lobe — 9 mm sits tight against it, 12 mm slightly clear. Two cuts in one setting: the squares read as flat planes and the rounds break the light beside them. Figures are per single earring.

The Josephine Earrings set white diamonds across a substantial gold form, on approx. 4.70 g of solid 18K gold (750 hallmark), in yellow, rose or white gold, with a certificate of authenticity.

At 1.11 ct on 4.70 g these carry a serious amount of stone in a mount heavy enough to hold it — close in balance to the Celestial Original hoops at 1.26 ct on 7.0 g, on considerably less gold.

The Athens Hoop Earrings are fully encrusted with sparkling white diamonds along a gold hoop, on approx. 2.49 g of solid 18K gold (750 hallmark), in yellow, rose or white gold, with a certificate of authenticity.

Fully set rather than set in a line, so no plain gold shows on the visible face — 0.43 ct on only 2.49 g of gold, which puts this among the brighter hoops for its weight, close to the Diamond Rain at 0.46 ct on 2.50 g.

The Edinburgh Earrings set white diamonds in a gold mount, on approx. 1.49 g of solid 18K gold (750 hallmark), in yellow, rose or white gold, with a certificate of authenticity.

At 0.30 ct on 1.49 g the balance sits close to the Mary Queen at 0.32 ct on 1.10 g — slightly more gold for slightly less stone, so the mount is the more substantial of the two.
