Diamonds Earrings

The Diamond Cluster Stud Earrings – Cushion gather a cluster of white diamonds into a cushion shape, on approx. 2.10 g of solid 18K gold (750 hallmark), in yellow, rose or white gold, with a certificate of authenticity.

A cushion is square with rounded corners, so the cluster fills a broader surface than the flower version — which is why it carries 0.78 ct against the Flower Cluster's 0.27 ct, on roughly twice the gold.

The Princess Stud Earrings set a substantial coloured centre stone with white diamonds around it, on approx. 2.15 g of solid 18K gold (750 hallmark), in yellow, rose or white gold, with a certificate of authenticity.

At 0.85 ct the centre stone carries two and a half times the carat weight of the 0.34 ct of diamond framing it, so colour leads and the diamonds brighten its edge. A second Princess Stud fiche describes the same figures with the centre stone identified as coral.

The Duo Stud Earrings set two white diamonds in a plain gold mount, on approx. 1.10 g of solid 18K gold (750 hallmark) per single piece, in yellow, rose or white gold, with a certificate of authenticity.

Two stones rather than one give the stud a short axis instead of a single point. At 0.15 ct on 1.10 g of gold it is deliberately restrained — an everyday piece rather than a statement one. Figures are per single earring.

The Daisy Stud Earrings combine pearls with white diamonds, on approx. 1.40 g of solid 18K gold (750 hallmark), in yellow, rose or white gold, with a certificate of authenticity.

Pearl and diamond return light in opposite ways — soft sheen against sharp sparkle — which is what keeps a small piece from reading as a single bright point. The Daisy Chain uses the same pairing on 2.0 g with a chain.

The Pure Solitaire Stud Earrings set a single brilliant diamond in each ear, in solid 18K gold (750 hallmark), in yellow, rose or white gold, with a certificate of authenticity.

Six stone weights are offered from 0.10 ct up to 2 ct per earring, and the gold rises with them from 0.400 g to 1.50 g — a larger stone needs a larger mount to hold it. All figures are per single earring, so a 2 ct pair carries 4 ct in total. Each piece can be bought singly or as a pair.

The price does not rise in step with the carat weight: a single 2 ct brilliant is far rarer than four stones of half a carat, and the diamond market prices it accordingly. That is why the step from 1 ct to 2 ct is steeper than the step from 0.40 ct to 0.50 ct.
