Ruby Earrings

The Rock Ear Cuff sets a single precious stone on a plain polished gold band, on approx. 1.0 g of solid 18K gold (750 hallmark), in yellow, rose or white gold, with a certificate of authenticity.

The stone is chosen at order. One of three cuffs built on the same 1.0 g gold band: this one with a 0.20 ct precious stone, the Emerald Rock with a 0.50 ct rectangular-cut stone, and the Solitaire Diamond with a 0.20 ct diamond. An ear cuff wraps the edge of the ear rather than passing through a piercing.

The Floral Cuff Earring forms a five-petalled flower in precious stones on a gold ear cuff, on approx. 2.75 g of solid 18K gold (750 hallmark), in yellow, rose or white gold, with a certificate of authenticity.

At 0.86 ct of coloured stone this is the most heavily stone-set cuff in the range — the petals are built from stone rather than outlined in gold, so colour rather than metal is what the piece is read on. An ear cuff wraps the edge of the ear rather than passing through a piercing.

The Java Hoop Earrings hang a pear-shaped precious stone with a diamond solitaire from a diamond-encrusted gold hoop, on approx. 3.0 g of solid 18K gold (750 hallmark), in yellow, rose or white gold, with a certificate of authenticity.

Three elements in one earring: the set hoop, a diamond solitaire and a coloured pear drop. At 0.80 ct of stone against 0.54 ct of diamond the colour leads, but by a narrower margin than on the Sintra hoops, where 4.84 ct of amber overwhelms the diamonds entirely.

The Mini Stone Huggie Hoop Earrings set four small coloured precious stones into an 8 mm gold huggie, on approx. 1.15 g of solid 18K gold (750 hallmark), in yellow, rose or white gold, with a certificate of authenticity.

At 0.41 ct of coloured stone on only 1.15 g of gold, colour carries almost the whole piece — and no diamonds are set at all, which is uncommon in the hoop range. An 8 mm inner diameter keeps it tight against the lobe.

The Emerald Cut Hoop Earrings set an emerald-cut precious stone into a diamond-encrusted gold hoop, on approx. 1.70 g of solid 18K gold (750 hallmark) per single piece, in yellow, rose or white gold, with a certificate of authenticity.

At 0.30 ct of coloured stone against 0.12 ct of diamond the centre leads, and the emerald cut's long stepped facets show the depth of the colour rather than breaking it into sparkle. Note the figures are for a single earring.

The Pear Loop Precious Stone Earrings hang a pear-cut blue sapphire, emerald or ruby from a diamond-set loop, on approx. 2.0 g of solid 18K gold (750 hallmark) per single piece, in yellow, rose or white gold, with a certificate of authenticity.

Colour and sparkle working together: approx. 0.30 ct of precious stone in the pear drop and 0.15 ct of round white diamonds on the loop above it, so the diamonds supply fine sparkle while the coloured pear reads as the shape. Choose the stone at checkout. Note the figures are for a single earring.

The Victoria Hoop Earrings hang a pear-cut precious stone from a plain gold hoop, on approx. 2.25 g of solid 18K gold (750 hallmark) per single piece, in yellow, rose or white gold, with a certificate of authenticity.

Two full carats of coloured stone on a 2.25 g hoop — the stone weighs nearly as much as the gold that carries it, which is why the piece reads entirely on its colour. No diamonds are set. Note the figures are for a single earring.
